Inquiries:
- We encourage individuals to check in with us either in person or via email (hsbuild@uw.edu). Some items may take a several days to be turned in.
- We will check our inventory to see if we can locate an individual’s items, but without an accurate description of the item we cannot release it to the individual.
- Items turned into HS Building Management will be held for a minimum of 30 days.
- HS Building Management will attempt to contact individuals about items turned in with identifying or personal information.
- Unclaimed items are turned into the HUB lost and found after 30 days.

Special items and exceptions:
- Debit/credit cards are kept for three business days and then shredded if unclaimed.
- Husky Cards are kept for three business days before being sent to the Husky Card Account & ID Center if unclaimed.
- Items containing sensitive personal information (such as a SSN) are kept for three business days and destroyed if unclaimed.
Items not accepted:
- Underwear, socks, or other undergarments
- Towels, pillows, and sheets
- Toiletries
- Cosmetics
- Medications
- Weapons
- Bicycles or other wheeled vehicles
- Perishables
- This includes containers with food or beverages. HS Building Management will not clean containers.
- HS Building Management may refuse to accept any item that is soiled, damaged, or dirty
