Book Lockers & Coat Lockers
- Instructional Support offers two different types of lockers: coat lockers and book lockers.
- Book lockers are owned by the School of Medicine and are reserved for medical students.
- Coat lockers each come with an upper compartment for books and smaller items.
- To open this compartment, unlock the main locker door.
- On the inside of the door frame, near the top, find the lever.
- Push this lever up to release the door on the top compartment.
There is a bank of Master Lock lockers on the 5th floor (middle wing, ##A lockers) that don’t have handles. To open, enter the combination with the dial. Pause at the final number in the combination. Next, use the dial like a door knob, turning it to the right while pulling towards you to open. If done correctly, you’ll hear a click while turning the knob and the door will open. These special case lockers are only assigned to School of Medicine groups.
If you have other difficulties opening your locker, please contact Instructional Support at hsbav@uw.edu or 206-543-6720.
