Finals are scheduled differently from upper campus to allow the most flexibility and accommodation for Health Sciences courses.
Courses have the option of administering their final exam in accordance with the Quarterly Final Examination Schedule (i.e. “regular” final) or on a different date and/or time that week (i.e. “off-grid” final). If a course wishes to have an off-grid final, the dean and all the students enrolled in the course must approve it.
Curriculum coordinators will be emailed finals request forms during the second week of the academic quarter (excluding Summer Quarter) with detailed instructions. If no request forms are returned, then rooms will not be scheduled for the courses’ final exam.
After all final exam requests have been processed, non-course event scheduling for finals week will commence.
