Welcome to 2019

Happy new year and welcome back Huskies! I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their new year and semester. Our department has kicked off the year with a good start. I’m very glad to report that the Director’s Office of Health Sciences Academic Services & Facilities (HSAS&F) is fully staffed, finally! I’d like to introduce two new members to the team: our Assistant Director, Steve Berard, and our Assistant to the Director, Elton Torres.  Steve is a long time UW employee and brings with him years of experience at the School of Medicine and most recently at the School of Public Health. He will be an integral part of the Director’s office, leading the operations and services within Building Management and Security and Instructional support. Elton is a Philadelphia native, with an administrative background at the University of Pennsylvania Kislak Center for Special Collections and Rare Books. With his experience and expertise, he’s taken on some important projects in our department. For our updated Organization Chart, please see the link below.
